SAT
Subject Tests
Many colleges require or recommend one or more SAT
Subject Tests for admission. The SAT Subject Tests,
previously called SAT II, are one-hour, primarily multiple
choice tests that measure knowledge and skills in particular
subjects in the general areas of history, social studies,
mathematics, sciences, and languages. It is a good idea
to check with the individual schools regarding SAT Subject
Tests requirements.
The Math and language tests are best taken after at
least two years of study. Subject tests in the areas
of history, social studies, or sciences should be taken
as soon as possible after finishing that course while
the material is still fresh in the student's mind.
The College Board offers 20 Subject Tests that fall into 5 categories: English, history, mathematics, science and languages. Here is a full listing:

- History: U.S. History, World History
- Mathematics: Mathematics Level 1, Mathematics Level 2
- Science: Biology E/M, Chemistry, Physics
- Languages:
- Chinese with Listening
- French; French with Listening
- German; German with Listening
- Modern Hebrew
- Italian
- Japanese with Listening
- Korean with Listening
- Latin
- Spanish; Spanish with Listening
SAT Subject Tests tutoring is available in Math IC,
Math IIC, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Literature, History, French, Spanish, and German. Call regarding tutoring for other subjects. Call our office to inquire about

program consists of four 1.5-hour sessions.
